Palestinians receive treatment at Khan Yunis hospital as Israel continues to strike Gaza - 31 Dec 2023
Doctors and medics perform a surgery on the 11-year-old girl Maryam Al-Riyati, who was injured after her home was targeted by the Israeli army in the southern Gaza Strip, at the European Hospital in the city of Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip, 31 December 2023. An American medical delegation on 31 December performed several surgeries on the wounded Palestinians at the Hospital. More than 21,600 Palestinians and at least 1,300 Israelis have been killed, according to the Palestinian Health Ministry and the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), since Hamas militants launched an attack against Israel from the Gaza Strip on 07 October, and the Israeli operations in Gaza and the West Bank which followed it.
